| Diaper Bag Steez | The Essentials

Friday, February 5, 2016
Ok ladies, so enough time has passed to where I think I have the diaper bag game down to a science. I've had the moments of back to back blow outs that requires me to buy a new outfit while Pey is sitting in her carseat with just a diaper lol. Needless to say she is the blowout queen. Which brings me to my diaper bag and what I need to survive!!

So I received this bag from my manager and I can't thank her enough!! It's spacious, it has zipper pouches and a removable pouch. Recently I finally figured out the straps on each end of the bag extend out and wrap around the handles of your stroller and clasp on to the rings inside the bag. Can I just say HOLY GAME CHANGER, I would stuff this thing under the stroller and wouldn't have room for anything else! Now everything is right there and I don't have to bend down searching for my wallet. Total mommy brain.

Rosie Pope Maternity- Leather London Shopper Classic
Comes with:
- two changing mats (travel size and standard size)
- a fast access travel pouch
-a removable zip bag that snaps in

Portable Travel Pouch- I keep my diapers, wipes and changing pad/liner in this so I can just grab this when I need to change her on the go!

- 2 outfits (onesie + pants) *during summer I would only carry 1 pair of pants in case it gets late or cold
- 1 pair of socks
- 1 receiving or swaddle blanket
- 2 pacifiers (regular paci + a wubbanub)
- 2 teething toys (for ages 4mo. + up)
- 2 entertaining toys (It used to be rattles, but now that she's older it's a fake cell phone and remote control that her Gamma gave her)
- 1 paci/toy clip (to keep the toy or pacifier from falling out of the stroller or carseat) // Etsy
- 4-6 diapers depending on how long I am staying out for
- 1 10-pack of travel wipes // Honest
- 1 waterproof liner (for changing diapers on, I put it on top of the changing pad just like at home because I already had a situation where I didn't use it and she peed and it rolled right of the slick pad and went everywhere!) // Target
- Honest healing balm ( one at home and one in the bag, for diaper rashes or any redness I see starting // Target
- Gas relief drops ( I needed this a lot when she was a newborn-2 months while I was getting adjusted to what I could and could not eat while breastfeeding)
- Honest hand sanitizer spray (I'm obsessed with their new lavender scent!) // Buy Buy Baby
- Cleaning wipes ( for wiping off her toys and sanitizing the table which I'm using a lot now that she's reaching for everything)
- Lastly, I always carry my portable charger now because between her watching baby Einstein and using it to entertain myself while she's feeding, I'm always in low power mode!

I also bought THIS for the back of my seat in the car to keep things organized. I keep toys/teethers, extra paci's, more wipes, more diapers and my extra changing pad with the waterproof liner folded into it. I LOVE it just because I don't want to have to reach into the diaper bag for toys and then forget them in the car ( I ride in the back with her a lot). I also travel a lot down to my parents or up to LA and I have been known to pull over and change her (because she tends to love pooping in her carseat), so having everything I need right there is SO nice for fast access. You can also zip it up and take it if you want, which is a nice option.

Unfortunately this bag is sold out and I couldn't find it anywhere to link but here are a few that I was looking at before she told me to hold off!

Honest Everything Tote $169.95- I'm in love with this bag, so many pockets and zippers and comes with your portable changing pad as well. I'm also a huge fan of bags that don't reallllly look like diaper bags.
Tory Burch 'Thea' Baby Bag Tote $550- Speaking of bags that don't look like diaper bags! This is a higher price point but loving it either way...especially the color.

Lily Jade- Elizabeth Bag $295 *on sale- This is was made by a mommy for mommies, I initially found her on IG and quickly loved that you could carry it 3 different ways, including a backpack style!
Lily Jade Bag Organizer $49- I love this insert that they offer because you can add it to any diaper bag for more organization. Also comes in Khaki ;)

Hope this helped you mommies to be or mommies that were looking for another option! I also hope I didn't forget anything, which happens more and more lately. Anywho, I think we shouldn't have to lose the fashionable bag aspect just because we change diapers for a living now lol Am I right??
